This is the test bike we used to generate the performance charts. We picked it up at a superstore for $55, but this frame would also be a good choice. After the second ride with the Phoenix 4840, the brake shoes were worn down to their metal backings. We replaced them with better shoes. Another 75 miles or so and one of the rear brake arms broke. We replaced both brakes with high quality ones, and we recommend you do the same. We also recommend using a DOT-approved (motorcycle) helmet.
