US DOMESTIC SHIPPING:
All shipping costs are continental US delivery. Most orders are fulfilled from our
store in
Lawrence, KS. We usually ship parts the same day. Unless you instruct otherwise, we will
use US Postal Service or Fedex. We build kits one at a time, and test them
before packaging. Kits usually ship next day.
INTERNATIONAL PAYMENT:
We process
International shipments one day per week, including US Military APO, FPO, and US Government customers.
Credit card OK for US Military and Canada. Others may use Postal money order or bank wire
transfer. Postal money order payments are for the exact amount
of the product plus shipping. If you use bank wire transfer, add $10 for the fee
charged to us by the bank for receiving a wire. If you do not have your bank
convert currency to US dollars, , and $25 charged to us by the
bank for currency conversion. We can not
accept PayPal for International orders because PayPal requires online proof of
delivery, which is not reliable with International carrier services.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
US Postal Service no longer allows International shipments of batteries. You are
welcome to order a conversion system minus batteries and anything else you can obtain
locally such as charger, bag, and rack. Batteries cannot be removed from
scooters. Most shipments get the best rates through the US
Postal Service. Choose your shipping method and price at www.usps.com.
We recommend insurance, but the risk of loss or damage is yours. Please be sure your country's Customs will allow import of your item. If it is returned to us, your money
will be refunded minus fees associated with shipping, handling, and bank fees
associated with the refund. If you have a shipping account with any carrier,
you are welcome to use it to ship your order. Please do not ask us to falsify
Customs documents.
CREDIT CARD PURCHASES:
When you
place an order online or by phone, the amount is authorized. Your account
is not charged until your item ships. If you order multiple items, particularly
parts and batteries, you will likely be charged less shipping than what is shown
on your authorization because we can combine some items to reduce shipping cost. You will never be charged
more than is shown on your authorization receipt.
RETURNS:
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Please get answers to
your questions before you buy. We want you to know
what you're buying, and would rather exchange several emails or phone calls than
for you to be disappointed. Returns of most products except electrical
parts will be accepted minus shipping as long as product has not been used and can be
resold as new. We hate to charge a return
fee, but returned items that have to be sold as used are subject to a fee of up
to 15%.
Call or email in advance for RMA number. We want your repeat business and recommendations to your friends.
Price Guarantee:
Most of our products are manufactured for us or by us at our own
facility. If you find the product
you want advertised at a
lower price elsewhere, we can honor their price on just about any item we sell.
DISCOUNTS:
It doesn't seem fair to raise prices for some so we can discount to
others, so we don't do it. We sell at a price that pays our employees and other
overhead. We pay a decent wage and offer health care benefits to attract and
retain good employees. We invest heavily in R&D to advance the industry. We
are committed to environmentally friendly electric transportation solutions.
If we discounted for some, we would have to increase price for others. We do have a dealer program, which has initial purchase, volume, and customer service requirements.
SPAM POLICY:
No spam. Period.
RAINCHECK (on OUT OF STOCK items):
If we are out of stock on an item you'd like to buy, just click the "Free
RainCheck" link. We will send email with the product is available.
ASSEMBLY:
If your vehicle is shipped to you, some assembly may be required. We
will usually pay for professional assembly of your bicycle. Instructions for
most bikes and scooters are included. ElectricRider has developed assembly
guides of its own. Links are included with your invoice if a custom guide is
available.Write or call
if you need assistance during assembly. Odds are good that we have assembled
your product many times and will be able to answer any questions you have.
WARRANTY:
A warranty is intended to protect the consumer from manufacturing
defects. It is not a warranty of performance or suitability for any specific
use. In most cases, ElectricRider services its own warranties. For Rad2Go and
GoPed, Customers must deal directly with the manufacturer. Both have US
telephone numbers. Rad2Go service is usually good, but could use
improvement during busy times of year. GoPed and Go Motorboard service is
excellent all the time.
