General Information about Shipping

Our shopping cart is pretty smart, but occasionally because of a combination of products or some other reason, shipping rates shown can be too low or too high. If the rate shown is too high, we will adjust it downward. If it's too low, we may call to get your authorization for the difference. We cannot charge more than you authorize without speaking to you. Unless you direct otherwise, we will combine products and ship by the most economical method. Because of the difficulty in filing claims with USPS, we recommend Fedex for most items.

International Shipping:

ElectricRider is able to ship all products except batteries due to regulations on lithium battery shipments. You have the options in which to ship through USPS or FedEx.

Shipping Lithium Batteries

Lithium batteries must ship in a special UN-approved box and only by ground. Fedex HazMat fee is shown as a line item in the shopping cart. Multiple batteries can ship in the same box, so there is only one fee per box. If the package weight exceeds 70 lbs, an additional box and HazMat fee are applied. Larger shipments of batteries are best shipped by Freight, which generally starts at $150 for commercial delivery in the lower 48.

Shipping Damage

In the event of SHIPPING DAMAGE, you must contact us within 3 days of delivery. Save all packing materials, as we may have the carrier pick up the entire shipment and replace it with new product. Carriers allow claims only within a short time from delivery, so we must be notified so we can report the damage to the carrier. We nor the carrier can accept responsibility for damage reported beyond 3 days of delivery.

Missing Items

Please open, inspect, and confirm your order is complete upon receipt. If you receive your order and believe something is missing, please contact and inform ElectricRider within 5 business days of receiving your order. We must be notified within 5 business days in order to either file a missing item claim with FedEx/USPS, and/or verify the item was not shipped with your order. The more time that goes by, the harder it becomes to determine if parts are really missing, and how the parts became missing.
